As a graphic designer at KLAS-TV my role on the graphics team was to generate on-demand artwork in collaboration with producers, reporters, and newscast directors. I composed on-air graphics for hourly newscasts with editorial direction. Under supervision from the Art Director and Senior Graphic Designer, I designed graphics elements and animated intros for featured news stories, regional maps, on-set visual displays, standing vertical monitor graphics, and on-screen visual elements. Additionally, I was tasked with staff training and development of a robust graphics library.

The local Las Vegas CBS affiliate, once owned by the billionaire and aviation magnate Howard Hughes, delivered “Eyewitness” news coverage. My work was predominantly featured on the 4, 6, and 10PM newscasts.
